Our mission
Her Haven Foundation is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming space where girls ages 11-18 can grow in confidence, discover their self-worth, and develop the leadership skills they need to build a bright future.
Who we serve
We serve adolescent and teenage girls through mentorship, leadership development, life skills education, and supportive community relationships. Our programs are designed to meet girls where they are and help them grow into confident, capable women.

Meet the founder
Her Haven Foundation was founded by Shmyra Garrison, a passionate advocate for girls and young women in Adrian, Michigan.
Shmyra believes every girl deserves a safe place to dream, grow, and become her best self. Through Her Haven, she works alongside schools, families, and community partners to turn that belief into action — one girl at a time.
